Brailleg 3 years ago#3 There deffintletly should be, but isn’t. The forum is inundated with people who did things like maxed out the first tier of a person without realizing they didn’t have to and are screwed because they hate playing with a huge handicap. We shouldn’t be forced to reset to an earlier save just because the game designers were to lazy to explain leveling up. They beat you over the head with it in the other games but when they completely revamp it they don’t even mention it. Just one of many things wrong with this game. Not to mention the bug many people experienced, the original stats they enter are COMPLETLY different after the start to level. It happened to me, I put 6 points in luck because I wanted the mysterious stranger perk early on and after I hit level 5 I noticed my luck only had one star. Not fixing that and not letting the players reset is just bad game design.

I’m sorry but it looks like I’m a lazy f*** and dont know anything. The f*** is wrong with you? All I want is to optimise my build a bit und try something new, without making a new char and sinking a lot more of my few time in this. There should be an option without console comands. Hope they patch it in. After oversimplifying this game that much, this is the first thing to add. I don’t think Rhenon is only a couple levels into the game and “screwed up” or leveled up his S.P.E.C.I.A.L. wrong, I think he’s well into the game and has 15-20 perks already leveled but wants to try out a new build. IMO giving an option to reset your skill points should be something that’s implemented in Fallout, at least once or twice during the game. Just because yeah a lot of times people spend a ton of points on leveling up their Strength or Endurance to get some of the perks that sounded cool to them but they end up being underwhelming but by that time you’re so committed to that build it takes forever to try anything different.
