Описание:
Если у вас установлено большое количество модов и ретекстур в формате hd и вас мучают периодические вылеты, то возможно у вас не хватает оперативной памяти. Игра может использовать то только 2 ГБ оперативной памяти. Это ограничение можно обойти, тут нам на помощь приходит программа 4GB Fallout New Vegas.
Установка:
Переместите файлы из архива в корневую папку игры. Запускайте игру через fnv4gb.exe. Для удобства запуска советую создать ярлык на рабочем столе.
Если у вас Steam, совет от Dyshes.
Если запускать стимовскую версию этим “расширителем” будет ошибка P:0000065432.
Ее решение:
К ярлыку FNV4GB (его нужно сделать, ага) дописать в свойствах, в строке “Объект” -SteamAppId 22490.
Получиться должно примерно такое: “D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas enplczru\fnv4gb.exe” -SteamAppId 22490
Попробовать нужно и 22490 и 22380.
Судя по всему, игра под номером 22490 – распространяется среди региона стран СНГ.
А 22380 – по остальному миру.
Примечание:
При запуске программы инициализируется nvse. Моды требующие nvse, такие как Проект “Невада”, теперь можно запускать и через fnv4gb.exe.
Программа не игнорирует порядок загрузки модов, выставленный в FOMM.
Для работы программы требуется 64-битная ОС и 4 ГБ оперативной памяти (ОЗУ). На 32-ух разрядных системах эта программа просто бессмысленна.
Для корректной работы в операционной системе Windows 8/8.1 советую использовать последнею версию программы.

I think it’s built into the script extender. Otherwise you wouldn’t be able to use both at the same time because they are two separate exes.

Unnecessary. A later update to the game negated the need for the mod.

No, that was a Skyrim update. New Vegas never got a 4GB update.
It’s only really needed if you’re going to use intensive graphical mods. I think there’s a version of the script extender that incorporated the 4GB.exe, too, but the regular version doesn’t have it built in.

Are the crashes, related to the Stutter Remover, harmful to hardware and do they require a hard reboot of the system?
